It takes aim at false promises, censorship, and the power of women reclaiming control.
Their sound may have evolved over the years, but their anger and need to reclaim a voice for the youth remain just as strong. And they’re just getting started. The band is made up of REA on vocals, Nina on the drums and Kathryn on the guitar.
BRUDA writes stories about fictitious women, against injustice and censorship - with one song presenting a manifesto for freedom in society. Formed in 2021, their sound is defined by a metal influence, punk, and Maltese rap.
Maya Aarohi will be kicking off the night with her first solo set, having previously taken the stage as part of Karmagenn. She’ll be joined by Noah on bass/keys, bringing an indie-soul vibe.
This EP will be released under 141 Records.
